Arrow Animal Urgent Care

Took my dog here for an issue with not eating, drinking, upset stomach, and lethargy. I was able to be seen quickly. They were great at explaining the options for care available. I wasn't sure of the options what I wanted to go with and the doctor gave his recommendation which ultimately saved me a lot of money and helped my dog. She was feeling much better by the next day. I would keep in mind there is not much parking near the building and it is off a busy street so keep that in mind when timing your drive there. They also only do a first come first served for appointments.

Please if you have an older dog do not take them here. I took my senior Pomeranian here because she seemed sick. They told me she had a mouth infection, gave me some antibiotics and pain meds for her and sent us on our way. I ended up having to take her into a 247 hospital that same night because she wasn’t responsive. They said her heart rate was low and that she was dying. They didn’t understand why the urgent care didn’t do any blood work or run tests. I had to pay for that additional hospital visit plus her cremation. I called the urgent care the next day to tell them my dog passed, and that I would like a refund. They told me they would have the doc call me back that she wasn’t there. She did call me back that same day, I asked for a refund of the medications seeing how my dog passed. I assumed I would get one for the visit , so I didn’t even ask. She said she would have someone call me back to give me a refund tomorrow. The front desk or a vet tech, did call me back the following day saying she can give me a refund for just the medications. I explained to her I should be completely reimbursed that visit was a waste of time, money, gas etc . She said she will ask the doctor and call me back. She called back saying they will do it, but they don’t wanna talk about it anymore and my dog was old. This particular staff member was rude and showed no care or empathy that my dog passed. Sure my animal was old but if I had went elsewhere she may have lived. The customer service was just terrible I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
